Feria 2026

Seville in Feria: the luxury of discovering it with those who truly know it

There are cities you visit.
And there are cities that, at certain moments, reveal themselves.

Seville, during Feria, belongs to the latter.

For one week, the city abandons any attempt to explain itself and simply exists: golden light over the albero sand, the distant sound of a guitar, the measured rhythm of a horse’s steps, conversations that stretch endlessly without regard for time. It is not just a celebration. It is a way of being in the world.

But there is a subtle difference between experiencing it… and truly knowing how to discover it.

Because everything truly special cannot be observed from the outside.

It must be lived from within.

THE ART OF ENTERING THE FERIA

The Real is not a venue. It is a parallel universe.

As you pass through the illuminated entrance —an ephemeral structure of light— Seville shifts its rhythm. Streets take on names of their own, casetas hold private stories, and every gesture, however small, follows an unspoken code.

Here, hospitality is not displayed. It is shared.

That is why understanding the Feria is not about how long you spend there, but how you access it. And that is where everything changes.

At CoolRooms Palacio de Villapanés, the Feria transforms from spectacle into a carefully curated experience. Our Guest Manager, José Angulo, becomes that local everyone wishes they had: the one who opens unseen doors, explains what remains unspoken, and turns each moment into something deeply personal.

Being invited into a private caseta.
Sitting in the Maestranza beside someone who translates the language of bullfighting into emotion.
Discovering the Guadalquivir at sunset, a glass in hand, as live flamenco singing breaks the stillness of the river.
Wandering through Calle Goles, where another Seville quietly reveals itself—workshops, small shops, artisans working unhurriedly, untouched by the noise. Places you do not search for, but stumble upon.

And even before stepping into the Real, beginning to understand the Feria from within: a first sevillanas class in the palace, where rhythm is learned without haste, or a private fitting where Mila takes measurements for a flamenco dress by Lina Sevilla—turning preparation into part of the experience itself.

These are not activities.
They are scenes.

DRESSING TO BELONG

At the Feria, aesthetics are not superficial. They are identity.

The flamenco dress does not follow trends—it transcends them. Every ruffle, every fabric, every shawl tells a story passed down through generations.

In Seville, tradition is shaped in ateliers. Designers such as Lina Sevilla, Rocío Peralta, Aurora Gaviño and Juan Hidalgo reinterpret flamenco fashion through a contemporary lens that remains deeply rooted. In their hands, each piece is unique: movement in every ruffle, intention in every fabric, embroidered shawls and mantillas that feel inherited rather than acquired.

For men, elegance is expressed with quiet confidence. By day, particularly during the horse parades, the traditional traje corto—fitted jacket, high-waisted trousers and Cordoban hat—keeps Andalusian equestrian heritage alive. By evening, the code shifts towards a more urban sophistication: tailored suits in navy, grey or beige, paired with crisp shirts and subtle details such as suspenders or pocket squares.

Yet the final gesture remains the hat. In houses like Fernández y Roche, with over a century of history, or in the discreet Maquedano hat shop, where time seems to stand still, choosing one becomes almost a ritual—a way of defining character before even stepping into the Real.

Dressing for the Feria is not about costume.
It is about understanding where you are.

THE SEVILLE YOU TASTE SLOWLY

Some flavours only make sense in the place they belong.

At Los Rincones del Marqués, located within Palacio de Villapanés, chef Jorge Cortés interprets Andalusia from its roots, with a savoir-faire that transforms each dish into memory.

Visiting La Campana, founded in 1885, is stepping into another time. Its history lingers in every display, every detail, in that atmosphere of untouched tradition that makes it more than just a pastry shop. It is, quite simply, where you need to be.

Shopping at Productos de la Sierra, on Calle Adriano, means taking the territory with you: flavours that speak of origin, time and craft.

And as in every city truly lived from within, there are places that never appear on maps yet define its character. From Palacio de Villapanés, we recommend those restaurants and tapas bars where stopping is almost essential: spaces where conversation flows unhurriedly, where the product sets the rhythm, and where Seville is understood through its table.

FLAMENCO: WHEN EVERYTHING FALLS INTO PLACE

Flamenco cannot be explained. It happens.

At the Feria, it emerges in every caseta—in spontaneous clapping, in voices that rise without warning. But there is another way to experience it.

Closer. More intimate.

In the courtyard of Palacio de Villapanés, every Friday, flamenco becomes something almost private. No artifice. No distance. Just art in its purest form, in a space where time seems to stand still.

It is here that one understands the Feria is not an isolated moment, but the expression of something much deeper.

THE LUXURY OF RETURNING

And then, silence.

Returning to the Palace after the intensity of the Real is part of the experience. The city lingers—within the body, within memory, in that feeling that resists definition.

Sound softens. Light shifts. Time slows once again.

And almost without noticing, the moment of pause arrives: water, scent, the expert touch. A treatment in the spa, in the hands of Laura or Vanesa, where time decelerates and the body finds its balance again.

A FERIA THAT STAYS WITH YOU

The Feria does not end when the lights go out.

It lingers—in gestures, in images, in the way Seville begins to mean something different.

Because living it this way—from within, with access, with context, with sensitivity—is not simply attending one of Europe’s most fascinating events.

It is becoming part of it.

And in Seville, that changes everything.

Because Seville has something that only Seville has.
