We absolutely loved our stay. The staff is phenomenal! They all went beyond to assist us with outings and service. The breakfasts were amazing. My one suggestion is you provide more space/drawers for luggage and toiletries. We were concluding a two week plus vacation and we had stuff. There wasn't enough space to tuck away our bags. Otherwise a FANTASTIC hotel and I've already suggested your place to friends traveling in the fall!

Amazing experience in CoolRooms. The room is definitely the biggest I've ever stayed in, and to have this in a great location, so close to Plaza Mayor is incredible. The pool was so relaxing to lie beside and it was great to get drinks and snacks service from the staff, who were all so attentive and helpful throughout my stay.

We just came back from 4 days in Madrid, and this hotel greatly contributed to this memorable holiday. What stood out the most was the friendly service from each and every single member of the staff, who always did their best for us. We've stayed in many 5 star hotels that didn't compare in service.We of course also loved the high quality breakfast, our suite and the central location to discover the most beautiful parts of Madrid on foot. I was pleasantly surprised when our driver dropped us off for our one day/night experience in Madrid. The hotel is beautiful, the front desk personnel are extremely warm and friendly and immediately ushered us to our room. First impression of the room was its incredible volume with 12-14 foot ceilings, beautifully appointed very spacious and comfortable. The king size bed was perfect especially the quality of the pressed sheets. The bathroom was very customized with high end quality finishes, an over sized walk-in shower and the Molton Brown soaps/lotions were a nice touch. I thoroughly enjoyed the hotel, the easy walking to sites, restaurants on every corner and fantastic shopping. I would highly recommend staying here and plan to come back for a longer stay.

You never know what you’re going to walk into when you check into a hotel. Sometime abject horror, other times joy. In the case of Cool Rooms, it was an over abundance of joy.The room we had (a Junior Suite E3) was enormous with a fantastic shower and bathroom. Though the bed was a bit too firm for my wife’s taste, it was large and fitted with high end linens.The staff couldn’t be more helpful, the breakfast is fantastic, and I could not find one thing wrong with out stay here. Cool Rooms is cool!

Love it in every way, excellent location accessible to restaurants and shops by foot. Literally, we just toured the city via jogging 😅. This hotel was a castle originally and they kept the heritage. The staff are friendly and helpful. The room is spacious with a comfy king size bed. The rain shower is the best among all other hotels I stayed before. I would say this is a 5-star hotel instead of 4.

This place is amazing. We stayed in junior suite: it didn't feelvery junior, it was enormous. The service levels were also second to none. Coolrooms is staffed by incredibly nice, helpful people. The location is also fantastic. We took a couple of cabs but spent most of the long weekend walking.

We loved our stay at the CoolRooms Palacio de Atocha. The building is fabulous, the service, nice and friendly, the setting, beautiful and calm. It is located in an interesting neighbourhood minutes away from major attractions. We found nice restaurants around and at the hotel, great tapas at the bar next door and finishing the night by the pool was lovely.The rooms are well appointed and the bathroom was roomy with a large enclosed shower. The breakfast was aplenty and served in the nice enclosed pergola by the pool.All and all, we loved our stay at the CoolRooms Palacio de Atocha and highly recommend the hotel.

Wonderful service from everyone on the team. Huge room, high ceilings and a king size bed. The bathrooms don’t have a bathtub unless you purchase the more expensive suites. Our room has two side by side rainfall showers.The quality of sleep is perfect.The breakfast is relaxed and more than enough food to keep you going throughout the day.The front desk team is awesome. Always smiling and willing to assist. Everyone was great. Special shout out to Joe who helped us with online train tickets and to Christian who gave us a detailed walking map - hand drawn, which we used throughout our stay.The bar service poolside is a lovely way to unwind after a day of sightseeing in Madrid. Everywhere within the city center is an easy 10 - 15 minute walk. The Prado is 10 minutes, as is Retiro Park and the Botanical Gardens.

I recently stayed at CoolRooms Palacio de Atocha while in town for a business conference and was very impressed by the hotel, the rooms, the staff, the food, and the service! Immediately upon our arrival, we were greeted by a smiling staff that grabbed our heavy bags and helped get us settled into our room. Even the hotel GM made sure to introduce himself, and ensure we were properly taken care of.The hotel itself is very cute, with fun moody and playful details that added to the experience and the brand of being "cool". Our room was spacious and clean and also very cool with its beautiful spanish tiles and pleasant views of the pool area. They include high quality hair dryers and straightening iron in the room as well and brought us a steamer upon request for our formal clothing that got wrinkled during our travels.When dining in their restaurant, the staff were quick to greet us, helpful with guiding us with our menu preferences, and timely with service. The food was excellent!The location of the hotel was also perfect for us, as most of what we wanted to see was either within walking distance, or a quick 15 minute taxi or Bird scooter ride away! The hotel was about 8-10 minutes from the train station and about 10-15 minutes away from the Royal Palace, depending on the flow of traffic at the times we went. The amazingly helpful front desk staff pulled out and marked maps for us, assisting us in our adventures and planning.I highly recommend CoolRooms Palacio de Atocha and will absolutely be staying here upon our return! Thank you again team, you were the best and a huge part of our positive Madrid experience!

Nice boutique hotel in a perfect location. Rooms are airy and lovely, the staff are kind and accommodating. We were celebrating our anniversary and found a handwritten note on our mirror along with a bottle of Cava and some chocolate covered strawberries! Lovely. Everyone went out of their way for us and we appreciated it a lot. Walking distance to all the museums, lots of restaurants and shops...just ideal for us. I was also doing work while there and found it an easy base for meetings. Lots of spaces to meet and talk, and good location.

My wife and I stayed at the CoolRooms in the Palacio de Atocha during our honeymoon in Madrid, and it was one of our best hotel experiences ever. The hotel is absolutely beautiful, and the rooms are very spacious, elegantly designed, and have all the amenities you would expect for a 5 star hotel.All the staff are incredibly friendly, and the concierge in particular went out of their way tomake our stay a memorable one. I would not stay anywhere else in Madrid!

I cannot express enough how wonderful the management of this hotel is. The hospitality is top-notch, with employees that are friendly and exuberant. I have been all over the world, but never had such a remarkable experience until now! This was our second visit and they still managed to make us feel warmly welcomed; they even remembered which room we had stayed in previously and when we arrived! The ultimate place to feel at home in Madrid. Location is great. Famous museums and attractions like palace and plaza mayor are on walking distance wheras luxury shop area of Salamanca only 10 taximinutes away.The hotel is a quiet oasis within the lively surroundings of the city center. This is without a doubt, the absolutely best hotel I’ve ever stayed at. The rooms are clean, large, spacious, opulent and so luxurious - they’re thought of everything when it comes to the design and servicing of the rooms (even had a GHD straightener and blow dryer in the rooms). It is worth every single cent you pay!There were also just little touches that they did which made the entire stay feel even more special and luxurious (like the nightly turn down service and little gifts for Xmas).The breakfast is also the BEST I’ve ever had - it’s located in this beautiful glass room and everything that came out of the kitchen was high quality, fresh and absolutely delicious! Super plentiful too. You absolutely cannot miss it.And last but not least, possibly the best thing about this place is the staff. The front reception staff were so passionate and enthusiastic about ensuring that you had a tailored and special trip - they gave us so many recommendations for places to eat, things to do etc and were always so so kind, helpful and friendly. The breakfast staff always remembered what I liked and even reminded me when I forgot I don’t like tomatoes :)This place is so special, I cannot recommend it enough. We stayed there in first week of December, four nights. Group of four couples.At the reception we've got a very warm welcome and guided tour "know your hotel" while waiting for the rooms to be ready (we arrived two hours before check-in time).Rooms was quite big, very clean and well equipped for relax and pleasant stay. The interior design is modern, interesting and in some rooms unusual - with pretty transparent glass wall between the bathroom, toilet and the living area.Breakfast al-a-carte is good, Egg Benedict is highly recommended.We had dinner one evening in the hotel - was very tasty, price reasonable and vine cart pretty good.Location is very good as well - all significant tourist and shopping points was in a walk distance (10-20 minutes mostly).Hotel's staff is very nice, professional and helpful. We've got an issue with our luggage (lost by airline) and they did all what was possible to help us , including daily calls to the airport and airline customer support. From very first day they remember that we're group of friends and every morning they've made a table especially for us (8 persons).Bottom line - we've had really good time in this hotel.

This interior of this hotel is so dreamy and luxurious. The breakfast is delicious also, they bring you pastries, fruit, yoghurts and breads and then you can order egg dishes or pancakes from the menu. Location is perfect also!

I was on my honeymoon from April 2nd - 4th, 2022. At first glance, this place does not look all that special, considering it is literally a hole in the wall. Once you pass the doors and see the entrance and lobby area, you begin to see the history expressed throughout this hotel. I do not know how the regular rooms look like, but the junior suite was magical. I tried to get the Master, but it was out of my price range. The Junior was more than enough space. The bathroom was super spacious...excellent for 2 people. The location of this hotel is prime. The bell boy gave us a few go to spots, and aren't very touristy and the places showed (they weren't packed). This was the biggest surprise: because we flew in so early, and were out all day discovering, we were exhausted at 8 pm and just wanted to be in the room. We ordered room service. It was the BEST thing we did. The food was.....6 stars out 5. I can't stop talking about the amount of food, the quality, taste and price of it. Compared to other room services (out of 100 hotels or so) this one is the best for sure. I felt like I was in Spain being in that hotel. Highly recommend this hotel!

Just finished a 12 night stay at Palacio de Atocha. Rooms are indeed “Very Cool” and comfortable. Linens and amenities are top notch. Breakfast is simple, but super fresh and baked goods are outstanding. New outside terrace covered and heated for those special nights or a cigar.I must say, the best part of our stay was the people, Diego, Patricia 1, Patricia 2, Christian, Alvarro, Mathias and Alexi are wonderful people always willing to be of service. I ammissing a few names for sure, but everyone was amazing. Location is also right in the middle of Madrid. Highly Recommended.

We had a fantastic stay at this beautiful hotel during our first trip to Madrid. Every detail of the room was stunning and the hotel is absolutely beautiful. We have stayed at many, many hotels while traveling and this was by far one of our favorites. The bed was so comfortable, the lighting perfection, and the shower was heavenly. The room overlooking the courtyard was a nice touch and the history of the restored palace is remarkable. While staying, I had a bicycling injury and unfortunately had to make a trip to the Hospital. The staff was so helpful and made sure that I was well taken care of (thankfully it was just a sprained wrist). We also enjoyed breakfast at the hotel and loved everything about it. We would stay here again and again — it’s truly a gem. Thank you Cool Rooms for making our trip so special!

Marvellous hotel, I wish I could give them 6 (or even 7) stars. Everything was perfect: total noise isolation, a climatisation that you don't feel as draft, perfect housekeeping, wonderful staff etc. etc. So far, Mandarin Oriental and Ritz Doha were our reference hotels for "perfect" hotels. Now, CoolRooms Atocha joins this group.

ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS! What a wonderful hotel. The room was very large with a high ceiling and a very modern design look. Our room overlooked the pool and the courtyard. The service was above and beyond from directions to restaurant recommendations. The staff was always friendly and energetic. The small restaurant terrace was beautiful. The food and service special. You may also eat and drink at the pool. One of the best hotels I have stayed at. Do not miss it. A special thank you to Diego for all of his help.

Fabulous well appointed suite in the heart of Madrid with the most accommodating and friendliest hotel staff. Very nice touches throughout the suits including chocolates on pillows. The super king bed was super comfy and spacious and bathroom was generous with a double shower and double basin. The only improvement could be to heat the pool year round for guests and to light up the corridors a little more. Will be back!
