No two rooms at Palacio Duarte are exactly alike. The very architecture of the historic complex shapes 47 rooms and suites spread across six categories, where original features coexist with fine materials, natural textures and contemporary design created for rest.
Some retain arches and stone walls, original architectural features or the traditional namoradeiras (Porto’s characteristic wrought-iron balcony windows); others open onto Porto through balconies or private terraces. Different spaces and perspectives united by a single way of understanding hospitality: respecting the history of the place and making it part of the experience.
