Superb hotel - would definitely go back A lovely small hotel with very attentive staff, excellent food and great rooms. The roof terrace is an added bonus - lovely for a spot of sunbathing after a days sightseeing. Excellent concierge too. The hotel is in a quiet area but still easy walking distance from all the sights.

Perfection We stayed here during the Feria de Sevilla, everything about this hotel works, location, beautiful property and beyond excellent service. 24 hour room service, the from desk is most accommodating, they where incredibly helpful with some issues I had had and mistake made on my end when booking. We traveled all through Andalusia and by far this is the one hotel I would go back to, it really felt like they bended backwards to make our stay as nice as possible. In today's world and after the pandemic well aware of the challenges the industry is facing, this hotel and staff are a gem.

A Beautiful Hotel in a Beautiful City The hotel is stunning…from the gorgeous patio when you walk in off the street to the lush courtyard where breakfast is served. Our suite was huge and very private, tucked into a corner off the main patio with only one other room on the floor. The bed was particularly comfortable.The staff was so incredibly kind and gracious. They helped arrange private tours in both Sevilla and Cordoba. I’m rather particular, and there was not one single request they couldn’t accommodate— and always with a smile.The location is great. It’s on the outskirts of the central city, only a 15-minute walk to the cathedral and Alcazar. It’s also far enough away from some of the typical tourist kitsch that any popular city has…but again, nothing is more than a 15- 20-minute walk away. It’s also a 15-minute walk to Santa Justa train station (for day trips and rental cars).

A slice of heaven in Seville This five star hotel truly is a little slice of heaven. Every aspect of our stay and the hotel was absolutely perfect.Location: the hotel is right in the centre, 10 minutes walk away from all The main attractions but is in a quiet little Cobbly straight away from all the nightlife, and is very peaceful. A taxi can be ordered to take you anywhere for a cheap price, the hotel staff are so accommodating.Staff: the staff here are world class, and provide the best service I have ever received. From the second we got there, they helped with everything, suitcases, room service, meals, etc. they are patient, friendly, and go above and beyond.Food: breakfast at the hotel is so well priced. For €25 you can have as much off the menu as you like. Pastries, fruit, eggs, cake, coffee, tea, etc. Dinner & drinks at the hotel are exquisite. The staff take the time to explain each dish, and pour the drinks for you in front of you. (I recommend the Iberian rice) all food and drinks are well priced for the 5* hotel rating. Building: the hotel is a former palace, and is idyllic. The lobby is beautiful, the rooftop terrace has the most amazing plunge pool and beautiful panoramic views of Seville. Our room was spacious, comfortable and we were given our own private terrace despite not booking one. If you visit Seville, you must stay here. It is heaven on earth and I have only wonderful things to say about every aspect of this hotel, which felt more like home than a hotel. Thank you 😊

Extra Special Five-Star Boutique Hotel This is a five-star boutique hotel in a 18th century palace. I’ve been fortunate enough to stay in a number of five-star hotels throughout the world. This hotel is among my very favorites in the world. The property is very special. Great views from the rooftop. A wonderful, relaxing courtyard. What really separates it from other hotels is that the service is beyond excellent. The staff is very friendly, without being cheesy. They truly care, and enjoy, serving their clients. This hotel is on my very short list of hotels I would return to for a very special occasion.

Perfection! Not only is this hotel beautiful ..and it is...the service is truly outstanding. Everyone from check in to service for breakfast to the gentleman who helped with our luggage. Everyone always greated us with a smile..a warm welcome. The breakfast was superb and again the people at this location made it a must visit. This a good example what luxury means ! Located at the quiet, small and narrow street at the Old Town of Sevilla. It is important as you can be sure that in this vibrant city where parties are going on till the sunrise, you will have a quiet night.The hotel is a real masterpiece, as it used to be for couple hundreds years a private home of a rich local family. Now it is converted into boutique, stylish hotel, with impressive lobby which is placed in a wonderland patio.Every single member of the hotel staff is very friendly and service oriented, so it is also important element of feeling well, when you are a guest of this hotel.Our room was a squared one with corridor going around the whole room. There was a separate living room, bedroom and of course bathroom and shower. Everything designed in a very stylish way.

Beautiful hotel, excellent service, a little pricey The hotel is beautiful - an historic building (including Roman ruins under the glass floor of the dining area) sympathetically converted into a hotel. Nice outside space for relaxing and a fine courtyard entrance. Our deluxe room was very comfortable. It is very central with easy access to all key sites. The service is first class. We had to leave for personal reasons early and the hotel used their discretion to give us a credit for one night. The breakfast is very good quality, as was the bar food we tried. My only slightly negative comment is that it did seem a little pricey especially with breakfast not included in the room rate - we stayed in a very similar hotel in Cordoba for substantially less.

Fantastic hotel with no less fantastic staff My husband and I stayed 3 days at Palacio Villapanes 02/04-04/04. A fantastic hotel and no less fantastic staff, a fantastic experience. Ideally locted in the city, beautiful hotel, beautiful room, the patio is stunning, the breakfast is wow and what best is the so professional staff, all of them, smiling, helpful and genuinely kind with a lot of care. Knowing that we were celebrating our 7th anniversary of relationship, we received as a surprise a bottle of wine a and a box of chocolates in our room; the attention was so cute. Score is only up to 10, we would give far above 10!!! we will come back! we loved it!

Tucked away gem in Seville The hotel Palacio de Villapanes is a beautiful property just a short 10 min walk from all the key sites of the city. Our room, #1, was spacious and was complimented with dramatic ceilings and a well appointed bathroom. You will love the staff who was so very helpful and welcoming. We wish we could have stayed longer.

Beautiful Hotele Beautiful hotel, all the staff were absolutely lovely, polite and helpful. Rooms were lovely and clean.Hotel is in a great location - easy access to all areas of interest.If there was anything I would say needs improvement is the breakfast - 25 Euros for a breakfast is very expensive considering the choices available. Given the offering, price should be around the 10-12 euros.

5 night stay in Sevilla for wedding We were in Sevilla for a wedding and stayed at Hotel Palacio Villapanés all 5 nights. Everything was perfect starting with concierge service before we arrived arranging a driver from Malaga to salon services pre wedding. The stay was phenomenal, accommodations immaculate, facility perfect and staff “off the charts”. Highly recommend and would return next time in Sevilla!

Wonderful hotel This hotel is one of the more beautiful hotels we have ever stayed in. We had a spacious room with great water pressure and amenities, which felt 'en plein air' because we were surrounded on all sides by light and windows. The staff is very accommodating and the location is perfect -- just close enough to the center of town to be easy to get to but a little removed to ensure quiet. Breakfast was the only disappointing element as it is very expensive and not particularly good, but this does not detract from our believing the hotel deserves 5 stars.

Spa is great as is the rooftop terrace albeit the plunge pool was closed too cold . Nice breakfast . Easy arrival and concierge took care of the car . Park opposite front door and staff appear to help . Lovely quiet bedroom etc worth a stay

Beautiful 5 night stay in a beautiful suite. This historical palace has been restored to the highest standards. Our suite was luxurious. Really couldn’t fault a thing. The bed was huge and very comfortable. All of the staff made us feel welcome and the service was perfect. Food and drinks were super too. Location is perfect for all the attractions of Seville. Would definitely choose this hotel again when we return to Seville.

Relaxing A lovely small hotel central to all attractions but still amidst real Spanish homes. Staff extremely friendly and helpful especially with helping us oldies and locator forms. Our suite was very spacious with a large separate seating area and tv. We had a walk in wardrobe and a very large comfortable bed in its own area adjoining a huge bathroom. Two washbasins, a power shower and bath. The outside seating area near the bar is a great place to relax and has plenty of shaded areas. The rooftop terrace is a great place for sunbathing with a plunge pool and some double sun beds all set well apart. We didn’t eat at the hotel as there were plenty of bars and coffee shops on the doorstep. Like most hotels the breakfast was pricey. Them I would stay here again as I prefer smaller more intimate hotels. The only improvement I would suggest is having tea and coffee making facilities in the room itself.

Wonderful stay for 5 days with my fiancée I really enjoyed my stay with my fiancée for a few days. We went for the deluxe room which was spacious, had lots of natural light and a lovely patio just outside. The staff were so friendly and helpful, including making several restaurant bookings, buying Cathedral tickets and organising a taxi back to the airport. We used the gym facilities and spa which while small and we had to book, was good enough for us. Would definitely recommend and stay here again.

The room was wonderful with a beautiful natural interior design, amazing lighting, wooden beamed ceiling, free standing bathtub and rainfall shower. It’s the perfect luxury boutique hotel to do a weekend away in Seville.

Beautiful place to stay Stayed at the Palacio de Villapanes in October 2021 with my wife for 5 nights. The hotel and rooms are beautiful and very clean. Staff extremely helpful and polite. Roof top pool and sun area are small but enough to relax in and cool down after a day in the city. Breakfast is expensive but looks nice and dinning area is very nice. The hotel is a little way out of the centre (12 mins once you figure out the way) but that also means it is reasonably quiet and you get to see a part of Seville just out of the centre.

Top quality place Very charming hotel with excellent staff. Really nice common areas though we only used the breakfast area which was minimalism at its coolest self. Could do with a small coffee maker in all the rooms. Having one in the lobby, and that too from 5.30 am to 7.30 am, is not the best idea. Does not take away from the fact that this is a top notch place.

Beautiful, peaceful hotel Wonderful, clean hotel with helpful & attentive staff. Our room was spacious, the bed comfortable and the bathroom is a good size. The roof terrace has marvellous views. Good location. We ate in the restaurant (delicious) and had tapas in the courtyard garden.

Great staff in a great hotel It was our first time in Villapanés. Not to far from the center (20 minutes walking). Great villa with a great decor and formidable staff always ready to help. The room was very nice. Space, nice and confortable bed and fantastic walk in shower.

Fabulous This is a wonderful boutique gem. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The room was very comfortable with a great bed and unusually large tv and a sumptuous bath room and shower room. The breakfast was delicious but so much that we had to miss lunch. The food in the restaurant was excellent. It was an easy walk to the sites and also very quiet. I would definitely stay again if we return to Seville

Gorgeous villa The hotel is a former family owned villa and the architecture is beautiful. The art is amazing, along with the unique floral arrangements. Our room was spacious, the linens were lovely, the bed was comfy and the bathroom was perfect. Walk in shower AND soaker tub-I was in heaven. Molton Brown toiletries. We had a fabulous lunch, grilled snapper, in the tappas bar. We also enjoyed our breakfast, the bacon was the best. Laura Pageo was very helpful throughout our stay. The bellman/doorman really went beyond to help us. Thank you both!One last thing, if you are driving to the hotel-it’s a bit tricky to get there and there isn’t a hotel parking lot.

Opulent gem in the heart of Seville We visited the Hotel palacio villapanes in January (off season) but really enjoyed our stay. It was one of the best hotels we've been to. The hotel architecture and interiors are opulent, and Instagram worthy. And its in the heart of the city with all of the best places at most 15-18 minutes walk away.The service and staff were all exceptional. If you visit definitely have atleast one meal in the hotel's restaurant, which imo is one of the best restaurant in Seville. If you can, ask for Alex (waiter / hotel staff) for recommendations for food and wine. He has a passion for food and wine and his recommendations were amazing.The reception had a really good list of recommendations for restaurants, places to visit and booked one of the best live performance we've attended (flaminco).There's a spa in the basement (which we used and had all to ourselves for the hour or so that we booked, which is rare to find).We also enjoyed the views from the gorgeous terrace on the roof top (with a pool, showers and sun beds) where you can order drinks and soak up the sun and a back garden/patio with heaters and covers spaces (good for both summer and winter.The rooms were beautiful, clean and well maintained. The bathrooms were luxurious and toiletries were all provided.

Wonderful luxury hotel Palacio de Villapanes is exceptionally beautiful and one of the most memorable hotel I have stayed. This is centrally located and in a quiet area away from the crowded and busy streets of Seville. It is a short walk from Setas de Sevilla and all the main landmarks.It is hidden in a gem with a tranquil ambience as you enter the palace door. Irene is very welcoming and super helpful. I felt the warm welcome. Irene checked me in and gave me a tour to this magnificent hotel. The private rooftop terrace, sun deck and amazing sunset views of Gothic Cathedral. A Perfect place to just disconnect and relax. The pool is closed for the season. The gym and spa is clean and they can arrange in advance to use it due to covid restrictions. The bar/restaurant with amazing tapas and drinks were delicious. Added to that is the relaxing patio with heaters- the ambiance is wonderful. The breakfast could be improved to have more choices in the menu.Exceptionally friendly and accommodating staffs that needs to be recognized. Sam (I forgot his complete name but I call him Sam), his recommendations for food is always spot on and always pleasant to make sure everything is good. Salvador from concierge, very helpful and always ready to assist whether answering my questions to giving me directions. Jose and Valencia are wonderful. And the rest of the staffs, regardless of the hour, they consistently took the initiative to make sure I am helped and everything is good for my stay. The room is very comfortable, feels warm and not suffocating with a high ceiling and large windows. I love the morning sun and view from my room. The spa shower that you don't want to get out is amazing. The bathroom is totally great. Palacio de Villapanes is a 1700 palace and is deserving of a luxury hotel brand of 5 star rating. My stay was flawless and splendid. Many of my Instagram followers already asked about this palace and I gave the same review.I am looking forward to staying here again on my next visit to Seville.

Lovely late autumn stay in Seville We enjoyed our first stay in Seville at this lovely hotel, Palacio de Villapanes. A beautiful house centrally located. Room on top floor at the back of the hotel towards inner court gave us the impression of being completely on our own in the hotel. So quiet. We were not on our own though, great house keeping made the room perfectly ....and the many other guest probably had the same relaxing impression. Reception very helpful with parking, reservations etc. We will be back :-)

A jewel of a hotel from which to explore Seville Tucked away but still within easy walking distance of pretty much everywhere. A gorgeous little hotel with beautiful central courtyard typical of architecture of the area. We had a large room on the far side of the back courtyard with great bathroom and very comfortable bed. Do agree with previous reviewer that it would have been nice to have tea and coffee making facilities. The staff could not have been more friendly and helpful - particularly the advice on experiencing some genuine flamenco (Lo Nuestra, Triana - local bar with amazing guitarist singer and everyone dancing!). Also enjoyed one of the best massages I have ever had in the spa. Now I just want to go back when it's not so cold and we can enjoy the rooftop terrace!

Outstanding Boutique Hotel Worth Every Euro We stayed 3 nights in this gorgeous boutique hotel. From lunch upon our arrival on the Sunday dappled rooftop terrace to sherry in the beautiful bar off the interior courtyard to walking into our room through the scent filled entranceway which felt like we were entering a spa, no detail was left unattended to. The staff went above and beyond from check-in to planning our travels from Sevilla throughout Andalusia. We had a wonderful stay and it was hard to leave!

Un hotel espectacular con servicio cálido We stayed at this beautiful palace hotel four nights. The staff went out of their way to make our stay in Sevilla wonderful. We were very happy the reception got us FC Sevilla tickets directly from the club website without any extra charge for us in a section that we felt was exactly what we wanted. They were very helpful about other tickets, etc. Very clean and quiet. Beautiful roof top terrace and patio-bar. Also the price was very reasonable for what it was,

Excellent service, boutique hotel Hotel is lovely and unique, very beautiful entrance hall and terrace. Service is excellent, very friendly and courteous. Our room was nice and very silent, good night sleep. Only minus is that the room lightinh is pretty weak. Both the room and the bathroom are rather dark which is a bit irritating - I hope they can add some lights to make it easier.

Terrific Torreón There is little more self-indulgent than staying in a suite at the Hotel Palacio de Villapanés. We stayed in the Torreón suite on the top floor which had its own terrace and lift access - with a panoramic view over Seville. Even in November there is sunshine and the terrace has its own sun loungers and an outdoor bed. The floor to ceiling windows fill the room with sunlight and the impossibly high ceiling is framed by a very interesting lampshade. The bath is marble and apart from taking ages to fill - was a welcome relaxation at the end of each day walking a lot. The Torreón is in size smaller than the other suite we were first allocated but well worth it for its exclusivity.

Luxurious and Convenient We experienced a warm welcome in an true palace in the center of Sevilla, stayed in a perfect large room. You can see that the hotel was recently refurbished, a very modern bathroom with 5* towels, a large bed with 5* linen. The breakfast was a bit hectic as it was served, but was acceptable. The patio invites you for a late drink, all in all, everything you expect from a luxury hotel was available.The location is perfect for a visit to the center of the town, within minutes away from the cathedral and niny, cosy Tapas places.

Wonderful place in the center of Sevilla The location is ideal for visit to Sevilla, within minutes away from the Cathedreal and down town with its lovely Tapas Bars. The welcome, very friendly, we had a feeling of homecoming although it was our fist time. The room was large with a nice settee, perfect bathroom and shower with top of the range linen and towels. The breakfast was good, with a nice service. The courtyard is a nice place to relax after a tour of the town.

Great week away in Seville! We had a lovely time at the Villapanes, from check-in, to daily service at the bar/pool terrace, to the comfortable room (amazing room size, comfy bed, great pillows, awesome bathroom amenities).The location is great, just far enough out of the touristy central area around the Cathedral area to make it feel luxuriously seperated, but close enough for a nice gentle walk through the oldest part of town to see the sites.Some great restaurants within minutes.
