Magical Christmas details

From December the kitchen team will be making the typical Asturian biscuits called “marañuelas” to give a sweet Asturian touch to this magical time of the year. Glass jars filled with these special Christmas biscuits will be placed in the common areas of the hotel.

Also from December, guests will enjoy small homemade Christmas sweets in their rooms and on December 25th and January 1st the magnificent palace breakfast a la carte will be completed with roscón de reyes and panettone or Christmas sweet bread. A magnificent breakfast offer with quality products from the area and the indispensable sweet touch of the season.

On Saturday, 10 December, the family Christmas tree lighting will take place. Guests and employees will light the Christmas tree and leave their wishes and afterwards they will enjoy an afternoon snack in front of the fireplace in the Salón La Canela, where there will be hot chocolate, sweets, biscuits and delicious sandwiches to give a salty touch. And for the little ones there will be marsmallows in front of the fireplace and the Asturian version of Dickens’ Christmas story.

On Friday 23rd December there will be a Christmas carol concert and a Christmas card for those who dare to perform and do their best.

On Christmas and New Year’s Day CoolRooms Palacio de Luces Realis & Châteaux will again surprise all guests with a small, special Christmas gift. Because Christmas is magical when we share it.

During the weekends of December there will also be Christmas gastronomy classes given by the Chef Nacho García Canellada and the pastry Chef Daniel Díez Berdia. Christmas wreaths classes by the palace’s flower specialist Magical Christmas details.
