Just a few metres from the Cathedral, you can see the fort behind which extend to the Real Alcazar of Seville: A palace of palaces, it brings together Islamic, Mudejar, Gothic, Renaissance and Baroque styles. The Giralda at present, the main body of the tower is the minaret itself and it is a fine example of the Almohade architecture of the time.
