An oasis of calm

The restaurant is located in CoolRooms Palacio de Atocha, an 1852 Palace transformed into a luxury hotel, a privileged enclave where you can enjoy a careful gastronomy with a service oriented to offer the customer a great experience with the best of the smiles. The restaurant has two spaces to serve: the terrace in the main courtyard of the hotel and the dining room.

The terrace is an oasis of calm in the center of Madrid, with a plunge pool that appears and disappears by magic and a fountain whose sound becomes the soundtrack of the gastronomic experience. On Sundays you cannot miss the Brunch from 12:00 to 14:00, if time allows. The dining room is an intimate and cozy space where you can taste our recipes, those days in which the good weather doesn’t appears, but in which the product, the elaboration and the service will delight you.

The chef Eduardo Gutierrez has designed a menu based on local products and traditional recipes, revealing the authentic flavors of Madrid.

In line with the concept we developed for the hotel CoolRooms Palacio de Atocha, we added to our menu a choice of dishes which express the values and essentials that define us.

A menu composed of quality seasonal produce, in great majority organic and local, that confirm our willingness to embrace the concepts of slow food and inclusive cuisine.

A gourmet experience made of reinterpreted traditional recipes which design an autumnal menu, in accordance with the season.

With a strong enthusiasm and passion for the product, Diego Alonso Arias heads the kitchen of El patio de Atocha. The young chef creates fun and versatile dishes, always made with soul. He believes in a tasty and respectful cuisine putting the product at the center of everything.

« I want to go back to culinary roots and highlight local products. Create recognizable traditional dishes with a touch of innovation to satisfy the most gourmet palate. »
