THE CATHEDRAL, THE ALCAZAR, THE GIRALDA<\/strong> hardly need any introduction: You cannot visit Seville without seeing inside the cathedral, the world\u2019s largest gothic church, conceived with the words, \u201cLet us build a church so grandiose that those who see it finished will think we are mad\u201d. Just a few metres from the Cathedral, you can see the fort behind which extend to the Real Alcazar of Seville: A palace of palaces, it brings together Islamic, Mudejar, Gothic, Renaissance and Baroque styles. The Giralda at present, the main body of the tower is the minaret itself and it is a fine example of the Almohade architecture of the time.
