It is one of the most enjoyable capital city in Europe, with many things to do and see.<\/p>\n<p>To get to know Madrid, you will need several days available. However, it is possible to visit Madrid in only 48 hours and to see most of the most famous places of the capital.<\/p>\n<p><b>Day 1<\/b><\/p>\n<p>The first contact with the capital city starts at <em>La Puerta del Sol<\/em>, one of the most famous place in Madrid and the starting point for all major radial roads in Spain. From that mythic <em>plaza<\/em>, you will be able to visit old Madrid town and first see one of the most imposing and grandiose edifices in all of Madrid: the Real Casa de Correos.<\/p>\n<p>Real\u00a0<em>Casa de Correos<\/em>\u00a0is considered as one of the most imposing and grandiose edifices in all of Madrid<\/p>\n<p>En la Puerta del Sol puedes ver el edificio de la Casa de Correos, donde se encuentra el m\u00edtico reloj de las campanadas de Fin de A\u00f1o, la popular estatua de El Oso y el Madro\u00f1o, uno de los s\u00edmbolos m\u00e1s representativos de la capital, Carlos III a caballo, la placa del Kil\u00f3metro Cero o la famosa publicidad de T\u00edo Pepe.<br \/>\nContinuamos la ruta hacia la calle Arenal, a trav\u00e9s de la cu\u00e1l llegaremos hasta el Teatro Real, o conocidos por muchos como la \u00d3pera. Justo enfrente del teatro se encuentra la Plaza de Oriente y, detr\u00e1s, se alza el majestuoso Palacio Real, la gran joya monumental de Madrid. Construido en el siglo XVIII, es uno de los m\u00e1s grandes y magn\u00edficos de Europa. Las vistas del conjunto son impresionantes desde cualquier perspectiva y la visita guiada al interior resulta sorprendente. Despu\u00e9s de la visita palaciega podemos entrar a conocer la Catedral de la Almudena, el edificio religioso m\u00e1s importante de Madrid.<\/p>\n<p>La pr\u00f3xima parada es la Plaza de Espa\u00f1a, y muy cerca de ah\u00ed, tomando la Calle de Ferraz llegaremos hasta el Templo de Debod. Este peque\u00f1o templo fue tra\u00eddo piedra a piedra a Madrid desde Egipto. Desde aqu\u00ed se puede adentrar en el Parque del Oeste y, contando con tiempo de sobra, subir al Telef\u00e9rico. Las cabinas del Telef\u00e9rico hacen un viaje de 11 minutos y con unas vistas preciosas a la Casa de Campo.<\/p>\n<p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-5442 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/coolrooms.com\/palaciodeatocha\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2020\/03\/outdoors-3305289_1280.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1280\" height=\"853\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Templo de Debod<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Partiendo desde la Plaza de Espa\u00f1a, iniciamos el rumbo hacia la <strong>Gran V\u00eda<\/strong>. En ella habitan importantes teatros donde se encuentran los principales musicales, as\u00ed como un sinf\u00edn de actividades de ocio, comercio y restauraci\u00f3n. A pocos minutos andando por la Gran V\u00eda, est\u00e1 la <strong>Plaza de Callao<\/strong>. Aqu\u00ed se encuentran los cines Callao, Capitol y el Palacio de la Prensa, adem\u00e1s de FNAC y El Corte Ingl\u00e9s, que, en la planta 9 de este \u00faltimo, cuenta con una\u00a0<a href=\"blank\">terraza-mirador<\/a>\u00a0y un espacio gastron\u00f3mico con productos Gourmet.<\/p>\n<p>Finaliza el primer d\u00eda por la gran capital conociendo la Calle Preciados, calle que desemboca, nuevamente, en la Puerta del Sol.<\/p>\n<p><strong>D\u00eda 2<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>El segundo d\u00eda en Madrid, comenzamos en la Fuente de Cibeles, uno de los s\u00edmbolos m\u00e1s representativos de la ciudad. Caminando por el Paseo del Prado, se encuentra el edificio de la Bolsa de Madrid y el Monumento a los Ca\u00eddos por Espa\u00f1a. Seguidamente, est\u00e1 la Plaza de C\u00e1novas del Castillo, donde se alza la majestuosa Fuente de Neptuno, y un poco m\u00e1s arriba la plaza de las Cortes. En esta plaza se encuentra el edificio del Congreso de los Diputados, con sus leones de bronce a la puerta. El Museo del Prado, es una visita imprescindible. Es uno de los museos m\u00e1s importantes de todo el mundo, y donde albergan obras de pintores como Vel\u00e1zquez, Goya, Rubens o el Greco, entre otros.<br \/>\nTras la visita al museo, la siguiente para es el Parque del Retiro. Este espacio verde est\u00e1 lleno de caminos, fuentes, estanques, jardines, esculturas, instalaciones deportivas, plazas ornadas y terrazas donde tomar algo. Lo m\u00e1s emblem\u00e1tico de este lugar es el Estanque Grande, con el monumento a Alfonso XII, y el Palacio de Cristal.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-5444 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/coolrooms.com\/palaciodeatocha\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2020\/03\/parque-del-retiro-3547463_1280.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1280\" height=\"853\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Parque del Retiro<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Saliendo del parque y avanzando por la Calle de Alfonso XII, llegaremos a la <strong>Puerta de Alcal\u00e1,<\/strong> que se construy\u00f3 en 1778 para conmemorar la llegada a Madrid de Carlos III como rey de Espa\u00f1a, convirti\u00e9ndose en uno de los monumentos m\u00e1s representativos de la ciudad.<\/p>\n<p>Y, para terminar el d\u00eda, conoceremos el Barrio de Las Letras, lugar donde est\u00e1 ubicado el Hotel Palacio CoolRooms. Este barrio merece una gran visita, pero hay que destacar la\u00a0<a href=\"blank\"><strong>Casa Museo de Lope de Vega<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0y la iglesia de las Trinitarias.
